Alana Raybon
Principal, KIPP Sunshine Peak Academy
Dr. Raybon is an experienced educational leader with a deep commitment to academic excellence, student achievement, and school community development. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado, a Master’s degree in Educational Policy from Vanderbilt University, and a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Denver.
Dr. Raybon began her career in education as a classroom teacher, serving elementary and middle school students for 13 years. Her passion for instructional excellence and teacher development led her into school leadership, where she served as an Instructional Leader for three years before advancing into the roles of School Director in Training and Interim School Director.
For the past four years, Dr. Raybon has proudly served as Principal of KIPP Sunshine Peak Academy, where she has focused on fostering a positive school culture, strengthening academic programs, and building strong partnerships with students, staff, and families. Her leadership is grounded in a belief that every child deserves an exceptional educational experience, every day.
