Why Work for KIPP Colorado?

KIPP students, families, teachers, and school leaders are aligned in a common mission: Together with families and communities, we create joyful, academically excellent schools that prepare students with the skills and confidence to pursue the paths they choose—college, career, and beyond—so they can lead fulfilling lives and build a more just world.

KIPP teachers know every student walks through the doors of school bearing gifts. So they support our students to see those gifts, then build the skills and confidence students need to thrive. Our teachers challenge students’ minds while nurturing their joy of learning– whether they are working to read their first word or solve their first calculus problem. Alongside a committed team, our KIPP teachers suspport each student to pursue their highest aspirations.

We all work together to achieve this common goal. Join us!

We Value Our Team & Family

We value our Team & Family as professionals and encourage them to be leaders, to collaborate, and to constantly improve in their craft. We prioritize professional development at KIPP by providing teachers and administrators access to weekly professional development as well as regular instructional coaching and time for collaboration with other teachers. We firmly believe that teachers, staff, and administrators are the keepers of our mission, and we treat them as such. KIPP recognizes employee wellness is important for the success of the mission at KIPP, therefore benefits such as complimentary coaching sessions, therapy sessions, and wellness reimbursements are available to all our employees.

You’ll Love Denver

Denver boasts over 300 days of sunshine each year, with 200 city parks, 100 miles of trails, and 11 dog parks. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Our strength and resolve, our health as a team and family, our productivity and effectiveness, and the quality of the decisions we make — are all rooted in our commitment to equity and anti-racism. We strive to create an environment in which every member of our team can bring their full identity and experience to the work.

We embrace, honor and celebrate our differences across race, gender, age, ethnicity, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, gender orientation, physical abilities, socio-economic class, and other characteristics that construct our unique identities.

We are especially committed to attracting and developing individuals who share the life experiences of our students because we believe the best work we do is grounded in the realities and experiences of our families and KIPPsters.
