Why Work for KIPP Colorado?
To and Through College
KIPP students, families, teachers, and school leaders are aligned in a common mission: getting students to and through college and on the path to success in life.
We all work together to achieve this common goal.
We Value Teachers
We value teachers as professionals, and encourage them to be leaders, to collaborate, and to constantly improve in their craft. We prioritize professional development at KIPP by providing teachers access to weekly professional development as well as regular instructional coaching and time for collaboration with other teachers. We firmly believe that teachers are the keepers of our mission, and we treat them as such.
You’ll Love Denver
KIPP Colorado has schools currently located in Denver, and we plan to expand into communities surrounding the Denver metro area. Denver is consistently rated one of the most livable cities in the U.S. Denver boasts over 300 days of sunshine each year, plus 200 city parks, 100 miles of trails, and 11 dog parks. There are major sports teams and quick access to world-class winter sports. Denver also has fantastic museums and festivals everywhere you look! Learn more at denver.org and denvergov.org.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
We are building a network of public schools preparing kids for success in college and life, and we are committed to building a better world for and with our KIPPsters.
Our strength and resolve, our health as a team and family, our productivity and effectiveness, and the quality of the decisions we make — are all rooted in our diversity. We strive to create an environment in which every member of our team can bring his or her full identity and experience to the work.
We embrace, honor and celebrate our differences across race, gender, age, ethnicity, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, gender orientation, physical abilities, socio-economic class, and other characteristics that construct our unique identities.
We are especially committed to attracting and developing individuals who share the life experiences of our students because we believe the best work we do is grounded in the realities and experiences of our families and KIPPsters.
