Puentes Scholarship Program

The Puentes Scholars Program aims to help undocumented KIPP Colorado alumni live their full potential by providing financial assistance, programming, and holistic services that support their college and career aspirations.

Encouraging College Completion


This scholarship provides financial assistance for current scholars for up to 10 college semesters which may include summer semesters. The goal of providing scholarship support is to encourage college completion within 6 years of graduating high school. Scholars are expected to be a full-time student only during fall and spring semesters.

Scholarship Terms


In order to maintain your scholarship, you must:

  • Remain in progress towards degree completion
  • Be enrolled and persisting as full-time without interruption
  • Maintain at least 2.0 cumulative GPA
  • Meet with a college Academic Advisor once a semester
  • Meet with the Puentes Coordinator once a semester
  • Participate in at least one campus club/group
  • Participate in Puentes programming
  • Demonstrate exceptional character & integrity
