Early Childhood Education (ECE) Program

At KIPP, we are committed to providing high-quality, developmentally appropriate Early Childhood Education (ECE) programming for our 3- and 4-year-old learners.

Laying a Solid Foundation

Our ECE Programs aim to most importantly ignite a curiosity and love for learning. Our ECE teams work to lay the foundation with social emotional and academic skills, so that our youngest learners are equipped at navigating the social world around them, and academically prepared for Kindergarten and the grades beyond.

The Whole Child

Our program places emphasis on the whole child, using data to develop play-based and small group learning experiences for our students that address the domains of social emotional, language, literacy, math, science, arts, motor, and cognitive development. ECE students also experience a wide variety of explorations including: dance, music, art, Spanish, and yoga. We value strong partnerships with our families and community and our program strives to place each student on a path to becoming an engaged citizen and contributor to their community and world.

Available at KNE and KSPE Campuses

ECE Programming for 3 and 4-year-old students is available at KIPP Northeast Elementary and KIPP Sunshine Peak Elementary. Many families may qualify for tuition assistance through support from Denver Preschool Program and Colorado Preschool Program which is determined at the time of application.

Note: Our Southwest campus, KIPP Sunshine Peak, offers a dual language model, promoting the development of literacy and language skills in both Spanish and English for all students.
