Building Together Strategic Plan Overview


In December 2021, we began undertaking to create the Building Together Strategic Plan. In this plan, we laid out the groundwork to ensure that our students have an exceptional experience every day so that they are academically and emotionally prepared for choice-filled lives.

We are deeply grateful for the Advisory Committee and the KIPP Colorado Board of Directors for their work in ideating, actualizing, and approving of this comprehensive plan.

Creating the Strategic Plan


Our Strategic Plan was informed by focus groups with a myriad of high-leverage stakeholders as well as:

Organizational Values


Our six schools have unique identities that reflect the diverse communities that we serve. We know literacy and numeracy are foundational for ensuring that all our students are equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary for success in their future careers. Our organizational values are the shared core values that guide our decision-making and help us realize our mission as a collective entity.

Academic Excellence: Support teachers and leaders to provide students with rigorous, engaging, grade-level, and culturally sustaining instruction.

Thriving Talent: Build and develop a diverse team that is committed to KIPP Colorado’s RIDE Commitments and Organizational Values, reflects the communities we serve, and is dedicated to developing and growing together.

Outstanding Operations: Optimize teaching and learning through efficient operational processes and school configurations.

Sustainability: Secure the right resources and partnerships to meet the needs of our community and ensure the sustainability of our organization.
