KIPP Northeast Denver Middle School (formerly KIPP Montbello College Prep), was founded in 2011.
KNDMS works in partnership with families, students, and staff to put learning first. By providing outstanding educators, more time in school learning, and a strong culture of achievement, KNDMS is helping all students climb the mountain to and through college.
Our Core Values
We value the humanity of a person over all else. We believe that positive relationships are the foundation of all learning.
We work relentlessly to achieve our goals and constantly push ourselves to get better. We believe that all students can and will achieve at high levels while maintaining positive identities and challenging injustice.
We are a team and family and our work is creating a legacy for generations to come. We hold ourselves and others accountable to living our values, every minute of every day.

KIPP Family Association
The KIPP Family Association at KNDMS meets monthly and supports family events at the school, celebrations for staff, and volunteer opportunities.
Office Hours with Olson
Families meet monthly with the principal at Office Hours with Olson meetings. During these meetings there is no set agenda. This is an organic, open forum where families can provide input on curriculum needs, staffing, after-school programming, etc. All families are invited to attend these meetings.
Collaborative School Committee (CSC)
Parent and staff committee members are elected by their school to participate in quarterly meetings to discuss the school’s priorities, progress, and practices in order to ensure they are inclusive of family, student, and staff voices. School leaders make decisions about their school with input from their CSC.
