By choosing to support KIPP Colorado Schools, you are ensuring that more than 2,500 KIPPsters have access to high-performing, free, open-enrollment, college-preparatory public charter schools that are dedicated to preparing students from underserved communities for success in both college and life.
As a KIPP Colorado supporter, you are providing opportunity and choice in the lives of some of Colorado’s hardest-working students, proving what is possible in public education, and setting an example for thousands more.
Here are some ways you can support KIPP Colorado Schools:
• Make a tax-deductible gift
• Become a member of one of our giving circles (more information coming soon!)
• Become a corporate partner
• Make a planned gift
You can designate your gift to KIPP Colorado Schools to one of the following areas:
KIPP Through College, Athletics & Healthy Schools, Experiential Learning, Wherever It Is Needed Most.
When you make a gift to KIPP Colorado Schools, your contribution can be put to work immediately by providing funding for current KIPPsters (students) and alumni who are currently climbing the mountain to and through college. You can make a meaningful gift of at any level or value through any of the following ways:
Cash Gifts
Cash gifts are the simplest and easiest gifts you can make. Cash gifts can be made online through credit/debit card transactions, or you can mail a personal check, cashier’s check, or money order made payable to KIPP Colorado Schools at 1390 Lawrence St., Suite 200, Denver, CO 80204, Attn: Development.
Gifts of Appreciated Securities, Stocks, and Bonds
These gifts have considerable tax advantages when transferred to KIPP Colorado Schools before they are sold. If you have appreciated securities, you may find that your gift will provide a two-fold tax benefit, creating an income-tax deduction, as well as helping avoid the capital-gains tax that would have been due on their sale. If you wish to transfer stocks from a brokers account, contact Jenny Fleischman via email.
Gift Pledges
KIPP Colorado Schools welcomes your gift through a pledge—a formal statement of intention to make a gift over a specified period. With a pledge, you may complete your gift by making regular payments over time, allowing you to give more generously than you originally may have considered. What’s more, each payment on your pledge is eligible for an income-tax charitable deduction.
If you have questions, please contact Jenny Fleischman.
